I just wanted to take a census and see who out there in Freak Land ordered the chews lemon, choc, citrate or carbonate. Please post if you like em or hated em or have suggestions. It would be nice to see these. Because as all of you know we strive to ensure full compliance for a good health and also something that will be enjoyable because I mean come on the majority of bariatric patients need to take these vitamins for life. So let em rip, guys and gals (Freaks!!! LOL)

Well...I'm still waiting for my lemon chews......hint hint....
But it's funny that you sent this cause I was going send you post sometime today.
Can one take too much of the Calicium Citrate Chocolate flavored chew bites? I love these things.
I did have a "another" calcium citrate chewable wafer that I ate for about 3 years. Wasn't bored with them but wasn't "thrilled" with them either. Just something I had to take.
BA Calcium chews....I have to keep myself from eating too many. They sit in a little candy dish on my desk at work and instead of heading off to the closest candy dish, I pop one of these in my mouth. I chew it slowly and and savor it.
People talk about them being a little gritty........I've actually come to enjoy that as an added texture to the eating experience..
So...yes...I love these darn things and I ain't just saying that because BA is kind enough to sponsor us. I truly have to hold myself back from eating too many of them.

Hey Toni Heres an answer to your question.
The Upper Limit for calcium set by the Institute of Medicine is 2500mg from ALL sources. Since we never know how much people are getting in diet, I would not advise taking more than 2000mg from a supplement unless a doctor has instructed it. This is 8 chews (citrate) or 4 chews (carbonate).

I take the chocolate citrate chews and I love love love them! When it's time to reorder my vits and such then I will place an order for the lemon ones. I like what I'm hearing about them.

Before you eat your lemon chews, put them in your hands and make a fist and let them sit there for like 30 seconds to a minute. It makes the chews softer and less gritty. Try it I think you like it even more.

I already posted something on the lemon lemon lemon but Im posting it again incase ya didnt see it.
I got my lemon chews yesterday. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE them! Seriously love these things. I loved the chocolate but they have been dropped like a hot potato for the lemon. Sorry Chocolate chews, I still love ya!
I was saying in the other thread that I think you should have a cherry, tangerine, strawberry and maybe a grape and then sell a multi pack.
These lemons ones really are like starburst.
When I get back to work they are going in my candy dish.

I am still waiting for my lemon chews...and waiting... and waiting ....I have the chocolate ones and they are great. I have the chocolate chewables that I take during the day and I eat the chocolate chews at night. Yum! Can't wait to try the lemon chews.

I got my back ordered Lemon citrate chews yesterday & I just tried one. Very lemony flavor, kinda starbursty - yum! But it was griitty. I let it warm in my hand for a minute or so first, like you said.
I have the Chocolate citrate chews as well & I love the flavor for those too. The grittiness reminds of the texture of a fudgey chocolate cookie so I don't mind it for the chocolate ones.
They say your taste buds can change after surgery... I hope I still like their taste.

Oh yes!! They came! The lemon flavor is very, very similar to a lemon Starburst... still has a bit of the grit, but no more than the chocolate does and the flavor out weights the texture. You guys have done good!! Now I'm looking forward to cherry or strawberry... maybe even both! (hint, hint) Then you guys can have a multi flavor package |

I just tried the Lemon yesterday. OK so see, my idea of starburst flavors wasn't so stupid after all! So now, I am wondering when you are going to do grape, cherry, strawberry, and put them into A VARIETY BAG!? Rainbow of colors, like skittles advertises!

I didn't get a chance to order the Lemons before my world started going all sideways.. Hopefully after the funeral on Thursday I can get headed back to something resembling normal.. Normal without my daddy... so not so normal.. but I hear it gets easier with time... and lemon chews will make it easier (see how I brought that all back nicely?)  |

Hey Lynnda, I think you will love the lemon chews since you like lemon. It is just like a Starburst (I think as I actually haven't had a Starburst in forever).
On another note, It will be a while until you feel normal. I lost my father in 1980 when I was 17. I truly think I mourned him until my mother passed away in 2003. I still miss my parents and both me and my sister say we now feel like orphans. You will have some good days and some bad days but that is just the process we go through. Anyway, I will be thinking about you tomorrow. I know it will be a tough day for you. I wish you strength to get through the day. I am sending a cyber hug your way.

OH MI GAWD..
So I finally decided to come out from under my rock and try my Lemon Calcium Chews.. Holy Moses! I am in love. Will it hurt me if I eat a whole bag everyday? I LOVE THESE THINGS.. I thought the chocolate ones were good but my love affair with all things lemon kicked chocolate directly to the curb.
I am going to do a whole episode about how I am going to marry the Lemon Calcium Chews and have little baby chewlettes.. OH MI GAWD!
