Hi everyone, I am new from Indiana. I had my RNY April 8, 2008 in Michigan. I was 278 lbs when I started my new life, I am now 145 lbs. I had gotten down to 138 lbs, but that was way to small for me, so I had to gain back the weight. Now I am happy at this size. I don't have a support group here in my new town and so I needed to find some support groups online.  I am looking forward to getting to know you all. Kim |

Hello Kim from Indianapolis.  Congratulations on your success. Any words of wisdom always appreciated from the successful. We have local support groups available but none convenient. The St. Vincent's ones post their schedule. Don't know if you have to have had surgery there or not, but welcome. I love this forum and I'm a big fan of the all the episodes. |

Thank you so much! I feel like a completely different women and still am shocked when I look in the mirror and see the change. It is like "WOW is that really me?!"
Congratulations on your success too!!!!! You are doing AWESOME!!!!!
I was wondering if St. Vincent has one here at the hospital in Winchester too. I sent them an email, so hopefully they will have one! I miss going to the group in MI. And I also want to stay on track and never gain the weight back again! That now I have to say is my biggest fear. I so do not ever want to go back to that weight again!!!!

Thank you so much!!!! I am so thrilled to be here. I LOVE watching your BariatricTV!!!! I learned SO MUCH about the reason we don't drink with our meals and so thankful for the object lesson. I am now not drinking for 30 minutes before and after again.

Hi! I am in Indiana also! I hope that everything is going well for you in the land of corn. It is nice to here from someone that has reached goal. I am about 25 lbs away and believe me they are a stubborn 25 lbs. I am currently shooting for half of my weight prior to surgery. The day of surgery, I was 318 lbs and I am 5'8". I am now 185 lbs (and still 5'8" - Tee Hee!) and I want to be 160 lbs. I hope to see more of your posts in the future. Have a good weekend. |
