It's been 6 months since I had my arms done (as well as my "pooch" on my back), so my surgeon took my final after pics. I'm just so pleased! Thanks again for all of your encouragement. As I mentioned before, this is not a surgery for wimps - it takes real commitment and patience. I am still a work in progress, but happy with the results. I'll also post the pics from the wedding (I was a bridesmaid in May - halter dress!) when the photographer gets them completed.

I'm very pleased. My surgeon did a good job. And wearing sleeveless tops is such a joy now, especially since that's just about all that the stores are offering these days! Frustrating!

Very nice Tammy! I still have bruising and some pain on my left arm. It's 1 1/2 years for me now post op but I would do it all again in a minute!

Hugs honey!  Grin

Patti - my left arm was the doozy as well. Had a surgery revision that went well, but it seems that maybe one of my tendons may have been left too short. It pulls occasionally - not all the time, and it may still be healing. Also, my scars haven't healed to my expectations, so I continue to use Vitamin E and scar cream and massage daily. I'm hoping I'll see results from that in the next year or so.

I thought your scars looked great. That is my big concern about PS.

They do things to your tendons??

Marie - I just know that when I stretch my left arm out a certain way, it feels like the muscle / tendon is too short. Again, it doesn't happen all the time, so maybe it's still healing. It's been 6 months, and they say to give it 1.5 - 2 years to be completely satisfied. We shall see! I am very happy with the results, and I gladly show off my scars in my sleeveless tops this summer!

Yep, I'm still using vitamin E oil and massage too. My tendons are fine, it's just the tissue that is still tender.

You look GREAT!  That only reinforces how much I want to get MINE done... but the insurance definitely won't pay it Sad

Thank you, sweet Kate! Good to see your face around here again!

My insurance didn't pay for it either. My precious grandmother passed away in 2009, and once her estate was settled, my portion went to pay for my arms. God bless her, she would be so proud of me, and I miss her every day. But I do think of her each time I look in the mirror.
