Welp.  I don't have pics yet, but I do have a time!  I ran the first annual Gusher 5K with friends who had never run before.  I ranked 10th for my age division coming in at 29:48. Not too bad for an old fart!  What a blessing to have been given my health back and doing something that would never have been a possibility just a few years ago.  Whoooopeee!!!  We are running again in two weeks, I'll let you know how I do.  Thank You, LORD for this little piece of plastic around my tummy!

Thanks y'all!  OK, so the over achiever have to do more than my best has sprung forth.  I ran last weekend to run with friends who had never run before to support and encourage them.  Next weekend, IT IS ON!  I am going for it.  I might not win, but I am chanllenging myself to do at least 1 or 2 minutes better time wise.  We'll see if this "old lady" can kick some royal fanny or not! Did I say IT IS ON?Huh  Tongue

I'm so proud of you, Cyndy! I know you've been training for this for awhile now. Isn't it a great feeling of accomplishment? Even as sore as I was, I'm glad I did the 1/2 marathon. Keep it up!
