After one month, I have lost 22 lbs and 19 inches. Due to some setbacks, I feel really good with the results so far.

I have had 2 NSV's this week as well. The first, I hugged my husband and realized I wasn't leaning forward to do it. He noticed too, it was great.

Also, my granddaughter came over to spend the day. She was dropped off early and I was still in my nightshirt, she said "Nana, your legs are getting skinny". I thought, WOW if a 6 yr old can notice, how cool is that. Of course, my thrill was short lived. She and I went out to the pool for a while. When we got in, I helped her take off her swim suit, then wrapped a towel around her and tucked it in. I then removed my suit, wrapped a towel around me (as far as I could) when she looked up and said "no towels big enough huh?!" God love her. LOL

Maddie your doin' GREAT  Grin

Add the towel thing to your list of NSVs to watch out for coz it's gonna happen.

Our towel sizes go: hand towel, guest towel, bath towel, bath sheet, beach towel.....I used to need a beach towel to wrap (just) around my huge hips.....I remember bitchin' about how they made them too small for women....lol

Now I can wrap myself in a hand towel!!!  Cool I'm amazed how big the bath got too  Wink

The NSVs make it all worth while  Grin

Congrats Maddie - for just being 1 month out, that's amazing!  I have been a "slow loser," but it's come off gradually, and never did before surgery.

Aren't the non-leaning hugs and skinnier legs great? Grin
