That's awesome, I hope you are enjoying the bike riding.
It is my favorite part of the triathlon.
It's usually the longest part, and while I don't excel at it, it is the part that I suck at the least

I really enjoy going for group rides with the cycling club. They turn them into a social event.
We usually ride half way (whatever the distance is) and then stop at a coffee shop or local restaurant and have a morning or afternoon meal, rest and visit for a while, then turn around and ride back.
Now that is a real test of your eating. You certainly have to make good choices, because that food can and will sit like a rock in your stomach. Especially when you have to climb hills on the bike. I have made the bad choice a couple times and paid the price for that. Even with that, just getting out and enjoying the countryside and the weather make it a great day.
It's exercise without the exercise. Unless it's a very hard ride, you don't even notice that you are exercising.
That's my favorite type of exercise.
