I bought an insanely expensive (for me!) bikini top and wore it, with shorts!......in public, not just in the house. And, it felt great! I haven't worn a bikini since I was about 5 years old, hee hee hee  I've had a "thing" about my arms since I was about 12......still do (y'know, they have stretch marks, sag, and when you stand like this they look really bad.... And I've never worn shorts outside of the pool..... I said to someone recently "Why on earth would I go through all this....and still let insecurities about my body, especially my arms, stop me wearing the clothes I want to wear" - you know who you are....  Here I am taking my own advice - I just lurve that bikini top! |
