Weds Surg. I am in pain and doing everything I am s'posed to, but I have an overwhelming feel that something is wrong.

I know it is not a reasonable thought, and it reeks of OCD, but I am panicked!

This may be side effect of Lortab 15mg. Anyone else have this experience?

Meds can surely do that to you.  Plus remember you were pumped full of all kinds of drugs at the hospital.  Unless you are having some sort of symptoms that would be alarming, I would take it all in stride at this point.

On the other hand, if you do have symptoms that need the attention of a a dr, plz do not hesitate.

Call the Dr.   That is what they are there for - be able to articulate what the symptoms are and when they started, give a scale of 1-10 for the pain and if the meds are taking the edge off.  Let us know!

I agree with the above. Also try to move as much as you can and keep trying new positions. I had a horriable pain in my side  when I laid down. I called the Dr. he told me that they pass by a large bundle of nerves when doing this and they can get irritated and can cause alot of pain. But one day it just went away.

Call your Doc even if it's just to make you feel better.

Call the Dr.

Don't mess around with posting on a forum if you're in pain call a Dr. or get your ass to the emergency room
