I had a left over pork shoulder and decided bbq pulled pork sounded really good. The bbq sauce is the star. Tangy and sweet and WLS friendly! Great on grilled chicken too

BBQ Sauce Reciepe

1 cup Balsamic vinegar
3/4 cup Splenda brown sugar blend
1 cup ketchup
1 tsp. wishtershire sauce
1 tsp. minced garlic
I added chili flakes for a spicy kick

Boil until reduced and thick. Mix in pulled pork and wrap in lettuce or cabbage leaves. We used blanched nappa cabbage leaves. Kids even loved this one. I served it room temp.

I love pulled pork.  I bought some SF BBQ sauce, it was pretty nasty.  Can't wait to try this. Thanks.

Guys, just a word of warning, pork and beef have more calories and fat for the same amout of protien per serving as chicken, fish and turkey.  They are more dense and take more time to digest, are heavy in the pouch and are slower to pass (if ya know what I mean).  They have tended to slow my weight loss some.  My program said they were off limits till I hit the six month mark and then not to eat every day until you get to goal.  Hard for me to do, probably part of why I have slowed down so much.

I am not fussing at you guys, just making sure you were aware of this.  I love pulled pork too and it is usually moist enough not to cause problems going down.
