I am so with you on this Ian. I actually have been asking my thinner friends what size they wear so I can compare my ass to theirs. I thought one girl was about a 2 but it turns out she is a 4 like me and I just couldn't believe I was as small as her but I guess I must be! The brain is so weird isn't it? I still think I look fat.  Patti |

I have the same discussion in my head - I'm always comparing myself to others. I still see my old self in the mirror even after loosing 175 pound since February. But I guess the conversation has changed a bit. I used to ask my wife, "Am I as big or bigger than that guy?" Now I ask, "Am I a thin as that guy?" Still trying to figure out my self image!

Went to a BBQ and had my BFF take pics of me with others solely for comparison pourpouses. I'm having a VERY hard time understanding my new size I just "think" i'm much bigger that I am.

I was at the Farmers Market over the weekend, and there's this booth that sells specialty sausages, and they have a poster of "Man Rules", along with some on display cards.
This week was Man Rule #8 (I'm paraphrasing).
A man doesn't tell another man his fly is down. It's his own business, besides, you shouldn't be looking there anyways.
