Hello! My name is Mr. Mandajo... or Ted...I think. Anyway, my wife (Mandajo) has been hounding me to get on here, so here I am. I am not a Freak yet, but hope to be within the next 6mths-1yr. This both excites me and scares the crap outta me...normal eh? In anycase, I look forward to getting to know some fellow Freaks.

Welcome to Freaksville Ted. There are some great advantages for spouses that have both
gone through WLS. Your own in-house support is priceless. My wife & I had WLS in February
& March, respectively, of this year. We're both down just over 100lbs each.
Do as much research and fact finding as you can so you can make the best decisions about
your WLS. And, of course, check in here frequently. We're all a bit crazy but in a good way!

Hey Ted! Mandy has been a wonderful addition to our little group, so we're so happy you decided to join as well. This place is such a great source of support. We have lots of couples who did this together, and Mandy probably knows them all (LadyK, HopentoBeThin, etc.), so be sure to feel free to ask any questions you like. A great bunch of people who are willing to help ease your fears and make you more confident in your decision.

Hi Ted!  Good to have you hear. Yeah, your being excited and scared both is pretty typical I'd say for most! I didn't get really scared until I within days of my date. You're in the right group, though. We've got some people here that know tons of good stuff. |

Hi Ted, Your already in good hands with a girl who loves God, and you. Now you have been directed to this site. Pre surgery you know it's time yet you know its surgery. This type of surgery has come a long way. I weighed 386 when I had mine and I was in and out in a few hours. The surgery was the easy part. Your wife will help make everything else easy. Lucky you.
