Our Grandson Ben had his 8th birthday party at Wild Walls this past Saturday. Rather than sit back and watch as I would have in the past (wondering when we could eat cupcakes), I freaking Climbed TWICE and had a blast and no cupcake (which were adorable, we decorated them with candy rocks for the theme).

Gosh you guys, you just make me feel super good about what I did - and I thought Ben made his Grammy feel like a million for giving it a go. Patti - you are so right about strength training - I had no idea how weak my arms/shoulder were and climbing would really tone me up fast if we had a wall like that locally. I'm checking into a couple of gyms who have walls to see about doing it every so often - I mean to tell ya, it was so much fun. I might have to sky dive next!!
