Yes, Tammy, He does!

Everything went really well.  Except for when I freaked a little when the pre-op nurse explained that I would be awake for part of the procedure.  HAHA  To be honest, I don't even remember.

I was completely shocked at the almost complete lack of pain.  There is no throbbing or anything like that.  The only  time it hurts, is when I am being expressive.  Even then it's just a slight pain.  So, I have to stop making faces at the hubs. hehe

I don't look real pretty atm but am exactly where I should be at this point.  Although I do have bruising, I expected to have full on black eyes.  Of course it could get worse before it gets better.  I go back to get my stitches out next Wednesday.

I am so happy I did this.  I could tell yesterday after the procedure that I could see better.  There is more swelling today so it interferes with  my vision.  But, it's only temporary.

Again, I can't thank you all enough for your support.  This has to be the best group of people on the internet.  I can hardly wait to meet you in person in Las Vegas.  Be prepared, I am a hugger! LOL

After I was prepped for surgery, they brought hubs back to wait with me.  He thought the writing on my forehead coupled with the fact that I had my teeth out was so funny, that he's take a pic.  As you can tell from my response in the pic, I was less than enthusiastic. LOL

LOL! I just spewed my Starbucks all over my keyboard! I'm so glad you posted this - it was my funny for the day!

You look just like my Mom did after the same surgery. I had to keep ointment on her eyes during post-op to keep it from itching, but otherwise, she had no pain either. Sounds like you are right where you need to be. And just think about how gorgeous you're gonna be!

I can't let a great photo op get away.  The funniest part is that it is a permanent marker and it is fading very slowly.  LOL

HHHHMMMM Did it not concern you a wee bit that the surgeon didn't know the difference between the right and left and had to mark it on your face?  LOL...GREAT picture and glad everything went well.
