So I got a phone call from my PCP last night, telling me the results from my abdominal ultrasound show that my gall bladder is full of sludge! I am immediately reminded of the gunk that coats the insides of the many drain pipes I have worked to clear over the years.

Needless to say, I am not feeling very fresh!
I ask my PCP about flushing my gall bladder. I am now thinking about containers of engine flush used to flush oil sludge out of car engines!

Oy! He asks me if I am in any pain, which I am not. Occassionally, I feel flu-like symptoms: fever, chills, body aches, etc. He tells me that my liver enzymes are still high and suggests I see my surgeon. So now I'm trying to set up an appointment to see my surgeon.
I Googled gall bladder sludge and gall bladder sludge flush. I have discovered such fun techniques as chugging extra virgin olive oil mixed with grapefruit juice (With and without performing a 5 day fast), drinking apple cider vinegar, etc.
My question is has anyone else experienced this and what did you do to correct it? I am still planning on seeing my surgeon but thought I would throw it out here to see if you fellow freaks have any ideas. Thanks.
