Hello Barbara, welcome. I am very new to this site as well and 2.5 months pre-op. I am in McKinney, Tx just a stones throw away. Where did you have your surgery.

Hello Cheryl, I am having my surgery at The Medical Center of Plano.... Just down the street from Baylor. With Dr. Patel. I also attend support groups at tmcp. Nice to emeet you. |

Hello Cheryl and Shawna! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you....been crazy busy this week. I had my surgery at the Doctor's Hospital @ White Rock Lake in Dallas by Dr. Barker. So far so good! Cheryl, it looks like you are doing great and Shawna good luck to you. Keep us informed! |

Hey Barbara! A friend of mine works in the ER at Doctor's Hospital, she is also considering WLS, but has consulted with Dr. Nick. She knows him professionally (as I do) from a previous job. I am so glad you joined the forum, everyone here is great with sharing knowledge and experience and is very supportive as well.
