Hello,
My name is Jesiree. I have not yet had surgery, but August 29th seems to be inching closer and closer! I'm feeling excited, nervous and a million other things all at once, I hope this is normal!! I have chose to go with Lap Band surgery. I look forward to getting to know many of you and sharing my journey to a healthier (and thinner) Jesiree.

VERY normal feeling!! You are making a major decision. I had 2 breakdowns in the hospital . . . one before surgery and one after surgery. I just felt like I was failing because I choose to do something so extreme to lose weight. Now 2 years later, I know 100% that I made the right decision!!

Hello Kelly, I live in a few minutes outside of Canon City, CO. I'm not sure if you are familiar with that area but it is about 30-40 minutes away from Colorado Springs...longer if there is road construction!  |

Thanks again to everyone for all the warm welcomes!!! Today was my pre-op. And I must say for now, as it nears, I'm not feeling as nervous as before. I have everything ready to go. Plenty of fluids to kick off my required two weeks of liquids only. I also bought a new blender/food processor combo for when I graduate to purees. And every thing else seems to be slowly falling into place like it should, much better than the crazy chaos I thought it would be |

Oh cool! Not many people know of Canon City or at least where it is. The road construction is horrible on 115, but I think they are nearly done! YAY! Maybe we could do lunch sometime. |
