Today was an adventure! My first day out, my first day facing the  "We love to go out to eat for Saturday Lunch" monsters waiting to ambush me - not to mention the fact that I get so tired after walking around for any length of time...
So, because of my bad knees and my bad back and the fact that I tend to get wobbly, we took our "family wheelchair" out with us. We were going to 2 craft shows, the grocery store and heaven knew where else, so I wanted to make sure I didn't have to wait in the car. We ended up adding Stein Mart (New to our area)and Michael's craft store. We - DD, DH and 5 granddaughters piled into my daughter's SUV and we were off!

And I must say my husband is just an awful wheelchair driver... grumpy AND uncoordinated...

Anyway, my family was so cute and supportive. I ate 1/4 pudding cup for breakfast and my granddaughter (14) was amazed at my lack of eating. When I started fading in the afternoon - soooo tired and sore - they were asking me every two minutes if I was okay and what could they do to help, so cute. All I really just needed was a nap!

BUT, I also tried pintos and cheese and all 4 bites were a roaring success! I took my water and pudding and baby spoon with me and I was okay with the family eating other stuff! It was a triumph all around.

So, life IS getting better...Hooray!

Sounds like you are on the road to recovery, so glad to hear you are doing well and starting to get around but try not to overdo it/1  Wink
