Just looked up my timeshare for that weekend and there are lots of rooms available - SOOOO, now I just need to find the entrance price of $170 to get in... and need to find the Bally address to get the hotel closest (There are 3 in the network) to the Bally so I can get there easily...

Very excited, but scared, too. I'm not a shy person, but it is very stressful for me to meet new people...you are all superstars to me! How can I possibly meet you??

AAAAHHHH! If could get rid of one trait I hate it is my fear...of just about EVERYTHING!

Still working toward being there - it sounds spectacular!

Just looking at flight costs makes my pocket book ache. Seriously? Dallas to Vegas is $686 minimum. Looks like my happy butt will be settling for the videos you all post. At least there's that.

I just checked and I see them for $300+ atm

I urge any freaks who can attend to do so as you will have the time of your life!

If you monitor the flight costs between now and then you might be able to find a sale. If we come, we'll probably drive as it's cheaper once you get more than 2 people.

Part of me really wants to go, but part of me is hesitant (for fear that I'm going to go to an expensive sales presentation and because I'm shy...really I am).

I'm thinking of using my timeshare as well if I go. Since it is a deeded property, I wonder if that would be considered for a local resident rate.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

To me it's all about meeting fellow freaks and having a great time listening to some speakers and getting lots of free swag!

Send Antonia an e-mail and ask her about the ticket or you could contact one of the BTV freaks in Vegas and have them pick up your ticket for you and pay them........

for fear that I'm going to go to an expensive sales presentation
It's definitely not that. It's more like going to a conference. There is a Vendors Hall like at a conference. There are some parties and some meals with (short) speeches and/or entertainment. And there are seminars. But nothing is mandatory to attend so it's not like going to a timeshare presentation or a MLM presentation.

Ok,  I'll just go ahead and book it and stay at Bally's then.  This way I won't have to drive to Vegas and can have more time to enjoy.  Maybe I'll go on Thursday and go see a show.  Anyone interested?

Wow, that's amazing.  That takes courage!  I'll do the indoor skydiving, but I am too chicken to do it outdoors.

Believe me..this isn't a sales event at all. It's more like a party with favorite freaks. :-)

There is a vendor section but I've always viewed those as a great place to try the newest products AND to meet the companies behind the products I already consume.

The talks are fun, but the best part is just meeting so many people who have share the same experience and getting new ideas from Everyone.

I'm actually starting to get excited about going.  Sad that my husband won't be able to go with me, but then again he would be alone most of the time anyways and he wouldn't enjoy that.

Well, this will be a perfect time to just reflect, enjoy and learn.  I look forward meeting more people that I may have many things in common and hope to meet all of you as well.

Still want to take in a show on Thursday...

A lot of us take our spouses as there is plenty for them to do - After all it is Sin City Wink

I'm sure some freaks will be up for a show and most likely we will be having a dinner with a bunch of freaks who are in town Thursday night too.

Honestly it's so much fun you will have a blast!

Perfect.  When time gets closer, perhaps we can all make some form of communication.
Maybe I should get one of those Surgically Altered Freak shirts to standout from the crowd...hmmm

I usually take a roll call and have a list of peoples Cell numbers that I give to all the BTV freaks attending so we can communicate while in Vegas
