Majority of peeps will stay at Bally's - Paris is actually connected to Bally's btw.
I always stay at the Monte Carlo as I get such an incredible room rate especially as we stay for 7-10 days.

I got to get my meet and greet tickets this Friday. I still didn't get my room but that's going to have to wait for the next paycheck.
Oh, I watched all these Vegas shows on Tuesday and that itch started up with me again. I think I may have to go for my birthday or aniversary, because I don't think I'll be able to wait till May. I have to go at least a couple of times a year to Vegas. I really don't gamble, but I'm like a cat with a lazer light there. I just see the lights and want to go chase them....lol

I've put in my/our request for time off in Las Vegas... Really hoping we will at least be able to make a day or two... Does anyone know (haven't read any of this tread yet... So if it's in here I appologize for the repeat) if there will be tickets sold at the door? I don't want to purchase ahead, because we might not be able to go...
So anyway... Going to go look around the site... Haven't been here for a while... And I changed my screen name (use to be Lady K) because I could remember my log on info... Oops!!
Hope to come by more often ... I need to reorient my/our selves to our WLS lifestyle...

I'm going to think about it - I'll be four months out - Might do a motorcycle trip down - got to figure out the finances - I have time shares in Vegas so I probably won't stay at the hotel - but it is SO pricy if you don't. Maybe I qualify as a local since I pay property tax in Vegas?

I need advice.
I really want to go to Vegas. I can still book my timeshare, there's lots of room, but I don't know how to get around the extra cost to stay somewhere other than the Bally. Help!
Plus, I will be bringing my husband if I can make it. Do lots of people have their spouses with them?
Don't want him to feel like the odd guy out.
Any advice on either of these would be appreciated. Thanks!

There are also several BTV Freaks who live in Vegas and I'm sure they could buy the tickets for you
There are a lot of freaks who take their spouses - Its Vegas there's tons to do if they're not interested in FreakVille
If they attend the meet and greet they will need their own ticket

Thanks, Ian. I kind of figured he'd need a ticket because with the National Dietetic Association Conventions, guests always need tickets. But even the two regular tickets are not that much higher that the one non-resident! I will go that route...I guess I do legally own property there! Right? |
