Can you share your favorite tips on dealing with sagging skins after WLS?

I like wife beaters. A nice and  tight wife beater (mens undershirt) worn under my clothes, is a cheap and comfy alternative to compression garments while you are losing weight. It holds in muffin top and certain areas around your bras.

I like the "Starter" Brand compression Ts from the men's section at WalMart - only about $10 each - MUCH less that UnderArmour.  I found the best results came from buying one size smaller than I'm currently wearing - I get to wear them longer and they feel incredible!

When putting on you squeezes or compression type garments try this - after putting them on lay down now lift up the part over your belly then pull down and smooth. This makes for an "flatter" fit and will support the stomach better. Tuck tops into bottoms to avoid them rolling up.

Layer what you are wearing. A tight bottom shirt with a loose something over it looks great on most people. Wear a belt with this combo is even better all any one will see is the 4inches showing under your jacket and the eye is fooled into thinking your waist is much smaller.

Second the Walmart option for compression gear.
They actually just started carrying the lined stuff too, so it makes a nice base layer to help keep you warm.
The lined ones are $14.00 per item.  I'm wearing one of the shirts today, and I can say that I already approve of the extra warmth.

Sam's club carries a women's support tank in 2-packs for <$20.  They feel good and work, only problem is for me that they are a little too short.

I have a real issue with my lower stomach and have really gotten used to the longer fit I get with the Slimpressions.  Of course they are a lot more $$ too.

So for the just-past-waistline need the less expensive ones are a great buy.

God, Ian, you always manage to crack me up!

I'm a Spanx fan, too, but $$ is the problem with them.

Target carries the "generic" version of Spanx called "Assets," and they are really wonderful options. I also like their Flexees brand for muffin top issues. I like the corset that wraps around my middle and hooks in the front.

I also highly recommend Cuddle Duds, especially in the winter, for both warmth and light compression.

When I got my Slimpressions, the gal said to put them on by stepping into them. Now I do that for all my Spanx/Assets/Compression-type garments and I find that they are less likely to roll up if you put them on that way.

Ian, thanks, had forgot about using that but its sort of a one time deal, i have to retape myself every morning.  I just posted a question about the tummy tuck belt before I read this thread.  I think I shall stop at Walmart today and see if I can find those shirts.  My big thing is here in South florida I don't need the extra warmth, i want to be cooler.

Compression shirts designed to be exercised in might work better, then. They tend to be more expensive but UnderArmour does have some cheaper ones.
