HI all I was sort of regular on here over a year ago, but life intruded and my focus changed... I became a truck driver and did/do a bunch of forum reading re:trucking... Knowledge is priceless!! I had to change my 'handle' though because I couldn't remember my log on... I used to be LADY K... I really need to try to refocus and recommit myself (and my husband) to the HEALTHY WLS lifestyle. It is a bit of a challenge due to being on the truck. Trying to do protein?? Not a problem for the first couple times using the shaker cups.. However washing them sufficiently is hard when our washing facilities are truck stop restroom sinks... Those cups start REALLY stinking!! So anyways... Going to put my face in the rooms/threads and see what's up

Good to be back Place looks the same, but a BUNCH of new names!! Cool Right now I finished my 'shift'... Started in Vega, TX at 0130 and finished in Joplin, MO at 1300 ... 506 miles today!! Right now I'm east bound (Gary is driving) on I-44 ... Our load is heading to Maryland.. Due there tomorrow Eating has been a challenge... And we have gained some of our weight back (10-20#)... Also exercise is hard to get... Living in a walk in closet.. LOL! So I need to come back and get re-energized!!

Hey Paula! I just got turned onto some new shakes - Health Wise Wild Berry Splash and they come in their own little bottle and you fill 'em up and toss the bottle which is recyclable... 70 calories, 15 grams of protein, and pretty tasty... and not too expensive. My friend found them, but I know they are available online.

Paula! Welcome home, girl.. I watch your adventures on Facebook but it sure is nice to have you back on the forums.. Check out the Shake and Go's from BariatricAdvantage for a protein option without having to clean the bottle. Also.. just being able to rinse out the shaker bottles with hot water would work too.. Heat up water for tea or coffee or get some at a restuarant or truck stop?

Those would be cool! Is there a store we could pick them up at?? We don't see home often - so no picking up mail/packages We are using up my old stores (PJ's Bariatrics) supply of Gotein right now (when we remember to mix some up).

I would love to get their address in SoCal... then we could park in there recieving dock and get some of our vitamins !! We are totally out of our calcium chews - I miss my little sweet treats - LOL! We do take our shaker bottles in with us when we take showers to wash them out - but I like the idea of the hot water when we get coffee (fill our 52oz little cups at least twice a day - mostly with decaf - and I'm sticking to THAT story - LOL!) There is usually a little spout for hot water - but I never really thought about using it (doh!).

It's good to be 'home'... (sighing and putting my feet up on the coffee table) Eddie is a sweet heart! I'm so glad for the internet - its not the same as being there, but at least we get to share some of his life. Even if he doesn't know it... The couple times we have driven through TN - we always think of you and wave

I'll ask on the Health Wise, but I think my friend got them at a local health food store. Maybe I can find something online about locations. Georgetown Market on the westside of Indianapolis where my friend said... I couldn't find anything when I Googled...

Or make your own Skweet
INGREDIENTS FROM THE WEBSITE: sodium bicarbonate, sodium chloride, citric acid, yellow prussiate of soda, grapefruit oil.
That's baking soda, salt, lemon juice powder, an anti-caking agent and a scent - CHEAP!!! But I bet it does a great job!
