I'm normally a tablet or capsule girl, but I am excited and hopeful to receive a sample pack to try these. Thanks for helping sponsor BTV - we believe it's the very best bariatric education available - and the best support forum. You've put your support behind a great team!

EXCITED! Seems like chewables are not working, period. I really need to find vitamins that work well with me. Since I'm 4 months out this may be revolutionary for me. Ha! I sent an email; can't wait.

I ordered a sample pack too, but primarily for my Mom.  She has Alzheimer's and is having trouble swallowing pills.  So far, she doesn't care for the taste of most of the liquids or chewables I've tried.  I'm hoping this will be something she can take easily and likes well enough to do it regularly without much fuss.

Tammy, you're gonna dig'em! I have been mixing them up with the other vits I take and really enjoying it. Well to be honest the one thing I don't have around here is a shortage of vitamin options  Wink It's cool though because if I get bored with one I can go to another. Yes even us "Normal Stomach Boy's" get bored with the same old vitamin everyday.

Wink @ Krisi-Bisti  I agree as a fellow Canadian - would loove some samples too!

That being said - Costco and Superstore carry Wellesse Liquid Calcium, and Multi-Vit. I started my journey on them Smiley

I don't see any Vitamin K in the multi...am I not correct?  This would be an issue...

Also, the B complex is showing only 7.5 of B1, rather than 50-100 daily.

Please see what Kaiser patients are given below.

Lolita - You are correct the Wellesse Multivitamin does not contain Vitamin K.  We very much wish we could include it but are unable to because Vit K is not water soluble.  The B Complex is more of a maintenance formula so you will need to take an additional B1 supplement if needed or recommended.

ASMBS notates that post op Thiamin deficiency is rare but can occur and should be tested, monitored and addressed with the help of their healthcare professional.   In some cases the Multivitamin that includes Thiamin plus an additional B Complex can address daily requirements.  Because they are water soluble vitamins they do need to be replenished daily with diet and / or supplementation.

So taking your product alone would put freaks at serious risk?

Ian if your healthcare professional has recommended that you need a higher dosage then you need to take one with that higher amount in addition to our maintenance amount provided.  At this time we do not have a high dose supplement of B1.  You should discuss this with your health professional if you are unsure.  Needed amounts do vary by surgery and by person.  Often you have to find the right combination of supplements that work best for your needs.

I feel your pain.  I'm 5 months out and I just can't take those vitamins.  Not because I don't want to or forget, its because im sick of chewing them! I have already got a nasty gram from my dr b/c my labs came back and my Vitamin D was low.  So i need to so something and I hope this is the solution.  I am still waiting for my building block sample pack b/c i much rather have pills but i will try this in the mean time.

Vit D is always low with us WLS'ers and even normal people. Here in Buffalo, NY we hardly get any sun so we need the extra Vit D (D3). I had great labs but SLIGHTLY low Vit D.

I went from a year on Bariatric Fusion, to a few months on Celebrate, and I am switching over to Bariatric Advantage now. I am sick of all the pills I take and if I can find a bari vite that has everything (minus iron, which I take a pill a day) in it I'll be happy. Right now I take...

Morning - 2 calcium citrates, 1 celebrate multi, 1 vit C, B12 sublingual
Noon - 2 calcium citrates, 1 celebrate multi
Dinner - 2 calcium citrates, 2 vit d3
Night - 1 iron pill

Good Lord....

I am in same boat, went from taking ZERO pills a day to a whole slew of them.  The good news is these are not prescription so blessed as things could be a lot worse.

Yea I was shocked, if Bariatric Fusion is so crappy according to a slew of people here, why I only had a slight Vit D3 deficeincy (common for us in WNY whether or not we have WLS)... yet now I am on Celebrate's and have to take more than I ever had to do with BF. Oh well. I am changing to Bariatric Advantage multi and that'll be complete alongside the iron pill. (I talked to their customer service.) 'Cause this is getting too much !!

Heather - You had your surgery on my birthday! We now have a bond forever!  Grin Hee, Hee...

Question, Wellesse Lady, I read on your website that Costco sells your products, but I was in my neighborhood Costco Saturday and I couldn't find them. Do you know of a way I could find out where the closest store (Of any kind)is that sells your products? I would love not to pay shipping if I end up liking these things.

I live 13 miles East of Sacramento, CA...Anyone? Anyone?
