So I picked up a can of Power Pak Pudding at "The Vitamin Shoppe" http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/store/en/vitamins_minerals/index.jsp
I see it is available online from several sources.

30g of protein
Sugar free
Low carb (9 g)
Lactose free
Only 190 calories
No sugar alcohol
Low fat
No trans fat
500mg Calcium

Granted right now I'm fighting the super cold so my taste buds aren't exactly prime right now, but the consistency seemed good and what I could taste was also good.  A can of it is 8.8 oz (250 g) and here is all the stats listed on the can.

Ingredients: Water, milk protein isolate, soy protein isolate, modified food starch, canola oil, cocoa (processed with alkali), natural flavors, sodium polyphosphate, salt, potassium citrate, sucralose, acesulfame K, carrageenan.

It was an impulse buy, I had stopped in to get some protein powder and found this sitting on the counter by the register.

Okay, it has a kind of starchy taste, but I like it so far. I've had two and nutritionally they look great except for the warnings about not using as a meal replacement and that ultra low cal (under 400 a day) high protein diets can make you ill or kill you...  Shocked I had one for lunch the other day and one this morning.  Reminds me a little of Snak pak or something.  Did you like it?

I did like it.

I think the taste was fine and it gave me the chocolate taste I wanted.
So many times the low call or "modified healthy" foods have a weird after tasted.

I haven't bought another one yet, but I think I will go get some more.

I just tried the Vanilla flavor and I actually liked it better than the chocolate which is not usually how my tastes in these things run.

I think I'll have to get some more of them.  They are on sale at the Vitamin store right now.

Have you tried buying the unflavored Unjury?  It mixes really well with th SF pudding.  The unflavored doesn't leave a gritty consistency and it really does mix well with so many foods.

I haven't Lolita, but I may in the future. Thanks for the idea. Unjury is one I haven't tried, although I've seen the ads.  I have tried other unflavored and it's okay, but very milky.  Cant' think what brands off the top of my head, but I know Nectar was one of them. I think Isopure may be the other one...

I've taken to adding a scoop or two of chocolate protein powder to my SF chocolate pudding (I've also used Greek yogurt, almond, and hemp milk - I. Addition to fat free milk). 1 scoop of protein - you can hardly tell - two scoops - it does not solidify as well - BUT - if you freeze it you get a high power chocolate fudgsicle

I REALLY did not like the Power Pak puddings, but I will stir in some protein to my SF pudding cups just before I eat them.  It's pretty tasty!!

Wow! That pudding is expensive! I like David's suggestion...

But mostly, I'd like a job so I don't have to think EVERYTHING is too expensive!
