WELCOME and CONGRATULATIONS!! At 3 weeks your pouch is still a baby, so be sure to treat it like one. Foods pureed to the consistency of baby food - and tiny bites. I used a baby spoon for the first couple months to get used to the tiny bites. I found pureed beans were a great medium to carry spices and herbs for flavor, and mixed well with unflavored protein.
Make sure you are getting your protein, and at this point that means lots of protein shakes.

Eggs didn't agree with me at first and I still don't enjoy scrambled as much as before surgery. They are better now at 7 months.
Refried beans from Taco bell, or anywhere, really. cottage cheese, buzzed in your blender or Magic Bullet with a little low sugar fruit...sugar free pudding...
You're pretty new, so take it easy. It's a journey, not a race. Remember the protein shakes help keep your protein high.
My fav is 64 ounces of milk, 2 scoops of protein powder (I like True Protein, you have to get it on line) and a box of whatever flavor of SF pudding mix you like. Mix and let sit at least 4 hours to let the protein get good and mixed. I got the recipe from Obesity Help and that woman is the protein shake Queen. theworldaccordingtoeggface also has some good shake recipes.
Give yourself a break...you are just beginning...Welcome...

Oh welcome aboard. Take it slow and if it bothers you don't eat it. Try protein shakes, yogurt, SF pudding, lots of liquids. Mostly follow your plan.
See ya around

I did lots of Cottage Cheese because it's packed with protein and you can flavor it to be a desert or savory for a meal. I loved pureed peaches in it for desert or taco seasoning in it for dinner!
Wait a while and try eggs again . . . amazing how your tolerance and tastes will change!
Welcome to our freaky family!

cottage cheese LF ricotta cheese Strained thick soups and pureed stews. Refried beans with FAGE yogurt mixed in. (it's like refried beans and sour cream..yummy) Egg drop soup. (really high in protien and the egg isn't egg textured.
Try scrambling your eggs with a Tablespoon of cream cheese beat in. (it will look lumpy but it sorta changes the texture)

I've not been 'freak-a-fied' yet but I eat something and it may work for you: 1 single portion container of Fage 0% Greek Yogurt 1 envelope of sugar-free cocoa 2 teaspoons Benefiber Since I've not been transformed yet, I also put 1 oz of dry roasted peanuts in it. I know I know, it's probably a bad thing, right?

Nope, peanuts have protein and fiber and add taste to things. They also have healthier fats. Nuts good...double chocolate fudge ice cream sundae bad...You, know, just in case you were wondering...

Hello. I hope things are going better for you now. I liked cottage cheese and low carb yogurt early out as well as some tuna mixed in miracle whip light or some other moistening agent. Take it easy on yourself. You'll able to add new stuff as time goes by.

Nearing five months out (5 months! - wow that still shocks me) and eggs are still a problem for me...More of a problem because I LOVED them prior to surgery. Weird, but I was able to handle scrambled about three weeks out but couldn't stomach hard-boiled. Now, I've just lost desire for eggs almost completely - which is kind of sad...but after having foamies a few times after eggs will do that to you.
At least I have no problems with eggs when used as part of a recipe. There is a really good one on here for cottage cheese pancakes that just never fails to hit the spot for me. I know, it sounds strange but it is SO delicious!
