Well, I just returned from handing over the keys to my house to the Real Estate Agent in charge of it. Strange feeling, really, to be homeless at 62. Oh, well, at least I'll thinner and pretty cute...

We moved in with my daughter last week and it has been quite an adjustment. Not easy, for sure. There are 6 little people here who want 100% of my time just for themselves. All I want is to crawl into bed and pull the covers over my head.

Of course, at this point, my "bed" is a mattress in the middle of the living room floor (We take over my grandson's room tonight) and it is the perfect place for the younger 2 to jump on my head at 6:30 AM

Oh, well, from here there isn't any way to go but up...

Well Leslie - I am sure you will make the most out of this once you get past the adjustments, and settle in Smiley looking back, I value and appreciated the time my own grandparents spent with my daughter, and I know she treasures those memories and the strong relationship the time together fostered. We didnt live with them, they babysat while I returned to work. Homemade chicken soup, cartoons, story books, and walks in the park were part of their daily routine. Love, attention and caring for each other and now they have a closeness they wouldn't have had otherwise. I hope for the best for you  Wink

Sounds like you are dealing well with the MANY transitions - I know that for me while I love change - I also find it stressful - be sure to do things that make you feel less stressed!
