I'm going to be a diamond, some day...

« on: June 21, 2012, 05:03:45 AM »

Well tomorrow starts my long weekend and I'm excited and a little daunted at still having to pack and clean out the car and all the driving - but happy to be going for sure! I love my cousins' reunions.

Also, got good news on a couple of fronts - USCIS ombudsman liason called and said my file was sent to NVC about a week and a half ago - why they just let them sit around for 3 weeks I'll never know! But it ISN"T lost any more! Yay!

And Becky doesn't have a hernia and her procedure went well with stretching the esophogus so I hope that helps her - the GERD is so nasty...

SF almond milk in my coffee

5 grain cereal with TVP, butter, walnuts and splenda

Blueberries added a big fat low carb 2:1 protein bar just 'cause!

Pintos and TVP

The rest TBD

I just cooked a big batch of sprouted mung beans and chickpeas with carrots, onion, garlic, eggplant and spices....  Grin

Vitamins: yes, FLuids: working, Exercise: walk

Keilah - well, ain't God good?? Prayers are being answered around BTV, I tell ya! Have a great time this weekend!

Kierie - I've been watching the news about the heat wave up your way. Take care of yourself, girl! Of course, those temps are par for the course down here, but when you're not used to it, it can be tough! Should be a break for you soon, though. Have fun with your family this weekend!

Hi there, sweet Diana - all the way down in Costa Rica. Hope you're having a great week, too!

B: Homemade tuna salad
S: Skinny Iced Caramel Macchiato
L: A vendor is taking me out, and I'm craving a Panera salad, so hopefully, they'll be amenable to that.
S: Nada
D: Will be a catch and grab - going to get my hair cut and colored tonight - priorities, peeps!!!

Vits, water, exercise - yes, yes, no - the hair must be done!

Hi Guys!
I just need to say: You lot are making me jealous - it's like winter here.
The rain has been tipping down...it's COLD. Today and yesterday (which was meant to be the "longest day"), I spent indoors sitting next to the space-heater with with the light and a switched on - what happened to summer?
Glad you are all doing ok.  Kiss

Diana - I'm in England (UK) - our weather is so unusual this year. Summer arrived for about 3 days, then left!. Now, it is cold and dark all day.
Hey Cyn, I've been here all along, I just don't have a lot to say these days - great news about your career! I remember standing in front of my first class - there's no buzz like it. Good luck. x

Oh Diane! How cool!!
These days I was looking at the Jubilee on TV, yesterday at Williams 30th B-Day!, I loved watching the Royal Wedding last year, I was in Orlando, FL for my daughter’s  College Graduation and we went to watched it at Disney with people dress as princesses or in pj’s or wedding dresses, was awesome! When I was a child I remember Charles’s & Di’s wedding, I have always being attract to the Royal’s stories’, like a fairy tale!
I will be drawn to the Olympics in a few days!!
My ex-husband was born there, grew up in Australia. I still have 2 sisters in law (from 6) that live over there, I’m still in contact with them; they are my kid’s aunts. One of them sings at the Rock Choir, so I watch in YouTube the performs that they do.

Hey Diane - will I still be hugging you in MN next month?

I meant to post on FB this morning and probably will today...one of the best benefits of WLS is my cold-naturedness while living in the South. Yes, it's been in the 90's here with heavy humidity...but I still haven't turned on my air conditioning yet! How great is that for my electric bill? YAY!

Cyn - yes, I got a salad, but not at Panera - we went to J. Alexander's, and I got their Shrimp Louie Salad - it was FAB!!

Will miss you all.
