    Newcastle Brown Ale – Arrrggghhh – Nasty stuff. It’s what I used to drink as a teenager when I ran out of money for the nice stuff! Those were the days….

    No newky for me anymore though – my doc says after an RNY no more fizzy stuff, ever.

  3. Well Greebo I have to admit that I do like Newkeys, but if I had my choice of English beers I would have to go with a Boddingtons. Something about those creamy ales that work for me. Unfortunately the boddies can be a bit difficult to find in these parts. There is a great English pub here in San Diego though where I go from time to time to get a pint. It’s also the only place I have found where I can get HP sauce. I just love me some HP!
