Episode 34: Duh…Feeling kinda Stoopid?

This week we crown one of our own an honorary FOW. Take our first look at post gastric bypass plastic surgery. Discuss the phenomenon of feeling a bit stupid after surgery – and finish things up with a cool summer dessert recipe.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • This weeks “Freak of the Week” is Mike or Big Mickey.
  • Why? Cause he makes Lynnda and Toni look like they know what they are doing.
  • We’ve decided to start a series on plastic surgery.
  • We answer the most asked question. That is “when should I have plastic surgery after weight loss surgery?”
  • We give you most plastic surgeons guidelines, which is to wait at least 18 months to two years after your weight loss surgery.
  • If you have questions regarding plastic surgery, send us email or post it on the forum and we’ll do our best to get you the right answers.
  • Feeling stupid after weight loss surgery?
  • We do eat a lot of brain foods like chicken, tuna, salmon, legumes, egg, cheese, and yogurt
  • 60% of our brain is made up of fat?
  • Maybe the serotonin levels in our brain is effected by our low carb diet?
  • It’s fruit season in California and we give you a great recipe using blueberries, strawberries and a past recipe.

Congrats Big Mickey for FOW! You do make Toni and Lynnda look great, but it’s not a big stretch because they’re both adorable already.
Love the strawberry & blueberry sculpture technique and the dessert sounds tasty.
I also ordered from Celebrate today. A 30 day supply each of the Cafe Latte and Mandarin Orange flavors.
Take care and enjoy the weekend all!

  2. Hey Linda!

Thanks for the comment! On this episode I was the most surprised at how lovely the strawberries looked! When I started editing it I kept getting hungry! Thanks as well for ordering up some vitamins from Celebrate. I know you’ll love the orange ones, matter of fact I just swiped one of Toni’s this morning!

Hey, anymore news on you heading to SD later this summer? It would be cool to hang out!

Everyone knows I’m Danielle’s biggest fan. Girl, you made me laugh so hard! Only a much-loved daughter would have gotten away with that. And Lynnda – a lovely outfit this week! Toni – thanks for the dessert! I’m headed to a BBQ on the 4th, and now I have the perfect thing to take.

Toni, I love your hair that way!

I’m totally addicted to this site. When my BA vitamins run out, I’ll definately buy through the site. Didn’t they use to offer a discount?

I’d post in the forum but for some reason I can’t figure out how to do that.

Congrats to Mickey, you make a great honorary Freak!

I was thinking of a trip to SD on September 4-7 Labor Day weekend. I have a friend in Poway that I want to see too. Is there near you guys at all? Let me know.
