In this week’s episode of BariatricTV we have a Drop Zone Freak who shares a birthday with BTV. In the Dumping Ground segment we report back on our visit to DC where we discussed weight loss surgery issues with the nation’s legislators. Then, in Altered Reality, we take a look at problems that can come from a deficiency of Vitamin A. Finally, we wrap things up in the Freak On segment with a tasty protein Dreamsicle.

    One thing to note on the pops.. Make them using less liquid.. So 6 oz of water vs 8.. Makes them denser and creamier..

    Thanks for telling us about that $50 Popsicle maker that you can’t use to make sugar free pops! I’ve been watching that brand trying to justify spending that much…and as I was watching thus episode I was telling myself that I was going to give in and purchase one until you guys mentioned that they get stuck! My husband really thanks you too!

    Hey Barb.. Yeah.. sometimes the old fashioned way is the best.. I wish I had known about the whole sugar free thing before I went and bought that thing.. Pretty much no one in our house drinks any full sugar liquids so that thing was a waste.. Booo.. I am on the hunt for the old style popsicle makers now. I can’t find em, though.. I will have to order online, I think..
