  4. My husband just had the stomaphyx procedure on April 1st. To date he has lost about a little over 40lbs. He had his gastric bypass surgery back in 1999 and over the years had regain some weight. The doctor said his pouch was never really portioned back then to the size is should have been, and only time will tell if this surgery will truly be a success.

He has experienced dumping from eating too fast, but thank God he has had no complications and the surgery was ambulatory. He feels that this surgery was the best choice for him to regain control. I’m so proud that he did this.

We are now loosing weight together, as I had my RYN back on 1/5/09. Life is great getting healthy!

  5. Hiya Kat! That is awesome! We would love to hear more from you both – I have never ‘met’ anyone who has had the stomaphyx. Come join our forums (if you haven’t already) and let us get to know you.. and you us!

    Welcome!

  7. Thanks Tammy….

I think that’s why Mike and I have been together so long, because lets face it…to get through hard times, a sense of humor is a must!!!! We certainly do laugh a lot in the Towe house.
