  1. I’ve almost given up on bathing suit shopping. It’s something I’ve had to do more frequently since surgery. Just two days ago I needed a new suit, but decided that no matter how I looked in my suit, it was a heck of a lot better than I looked 100 lbs ago.

I’ve been dealing with the idea that I’ll never be a 20 year old hardbody. Not just because of loose skin from surgery, but because I’m just not getting any younger. I think I’m starting to be OK with that.

  2. You Rock Kate :) I heart your attitude.

Great show again, y’all. Mark is a great Freak of the Week – Mark, I know you’ve got a LIFE and all but come by more often and inspire us on the forums.

I have a friend who had WLS (the sleeve) almost a year ago and has lost 125 lbs. I’ve pointed her out to this site, but will send her a link to this particular show, as it has some great tips on maintenance.

Oh, sure, Toni! Show the picture of us last summer in our suits but not your new suit this year? Come on! Let’s see the new swim suit!

  4. Is that a dare? :-)

I will try to snap a picture this weekend.

I am more critical of myself than others, I realize that, but it’s a hard habit to break. Thanks for reminding us about this concerning bathing suits. I guess you can use the advice in the regular day to day also. :)

BTV should consider a swimsuit competition :) Voting contest.

Great show and it’s a good reminder, that we shouldn’t be so hard on ourselves… congrats to the FOW, and for sharing Mcnee website!

So true about dressing room lights too. You know if you look even half way decent in the dressing room that you’re looking great in real light. Awesome show guys!!
