YAY, Patrina! So happy for you! This will be excellent documentation for everyone contemplating surgery – as well as nice reminders of what all of us went through. I love this idea!
I am so excited to watch your journey. It has been an amazing and awesome ride since my surgery in August and my life just keeps getting better every day! Congrats to you and some advice – start increasing protein and decreasing sugar NOW (assuming you’re not already, that is). It will be easier later. You don’t want to be recovering from surgery and going through carb withdrawl at the same time (yuck).
I had RNY January 2009 and now I go next week for plastic surgery consultation. Incredible journey.
