Then we slide on into Altered Reality where we discuss dealing with the fall out when your friend is denied for weight loss surgery. What can you do when this happens? Next, we have the first ever Move Yo Ass segment. Here we’ll talk about the importance of warming up before starting your exercise routine. And finally, we wrap things up in the Freak On segment with review of a quick ‘shake-n-go’ protein meal replacement from the folks at Bariatric Advantage.

  1. But I would really want the sparkles. Bedazzling is the thing that makes this post WLS life worth living.

Seriously though, I loved the segment about being supportive to a friend denied wls. Self pay is a great option and I actually used it myself.

  2. T2Nashville says:

Toni’s first song of the new year – YAY!

I have 2 people that I have encouraged that have been denied. One finally had her lapband last year, and I am still helping the other one try to appeal, appeal, appeal. Frustrating, but I cannot give up because I don’t want her to. I’m hoping to have a success story to tell this year! Thanks for the inspiration and motivation to keep going.
